FASE Festival
FASE è un festival di fotografia e Arti visive a Otranto, a sud-est dell’Italia. Ma il nome raggruppa anche un concetto molto più impattante. Nel 2025 la fotografia compirà i suoi primi 200 anni: un traguardo importante, che oggi ha reso questo linguaggio necessario per raccontare il mondo contemporaneo e la socialità, attraverso l’immagine e la fotografia; che altro non è che lo sguardo professionale sul mondo che ci regalano i fotografi. Dove andrà la fotografia nei prossimi 200 anni? Anche su questo si interroga il festival FASE: dal digitale molta strada è stata fatta e le sintografie oggi aprono nuove emozionanti sfide al mondo dell’immagine d’autore.
Fase is a Festival about visual art and photography in Otranto, in south eastern Italy. But the name also encompasses a much more impactful concept. In 2025 photography will celebrate its first 200 years: an important milestone, which has made this language necessary today to tell the story of the contemporary world and sociality, through images and photography, which is nothing more than the professional look at the world that photographers give us. where will photography go in the next 200 years? This is also what the FASE festival is wondering about: since digital a lot of ground has been covered and syntographies today open exciting new challenges to the world of the auteur image.
